About
Carla Holt, founder and director of WeDanz, began her career in dance in Greensboro NC. She received her education and dance training from Weaver Academy, Greensboro, NC and UNC School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC.
Carla has a vast experience in teaching, training and performance. She has choreographed for such shows the" Drew Carey Show and Black College Sports Today" seen on BET. She also performed in the intro for "Black College Sports Today". She is a former dancer for the NBA Charlotte Hornets as well as a former dance coach and choreographer for the UNC Greensboro - Spartan G's Dance Team, the Greensboro Generals Hockey Team Dancers and the Greensboro Prowlers Arena Football Team Dancers where she won the award of Dance Team of the Year. Carla is an original 102 Jamz Hip Hop Dancer and has performed opening dance acts for such Pop and R&B artists as Redman, Keith Murray and Biggie Smalls. She has also won numerous cheer and dance competitions over the years.

Our mission and goal is to provide excellent service and a life time of memorable dancing and rhythm experiences for all of our dancers. We offer programs to accommodate each dancer to their level of experience and to allow them to try different styles and expressions of dancing and rhythm. In addition, our parents love the benefit of providing an active program that helps their child sustain and improve their health and fitness...while still having tons of fun!
We strive to strengthen and improve your child's current and acquired dance skills through our unique programs. Our instructor's goal is not only to teach a dance routine but more importantly, to help each child master and perform them to the best of each child's ability. We do this by approaching each dancer as a unique individual to get to know their abilities and potential. We then provide an exciting and positive atmosphere to encourage and enhance each child's potential to the maximum.
Through this we have helped our dancers not only to enhance their passion and genuine desire for dancing and expression, but also to develop an appreciation and respect for the art. We hope that you and your child will join our family of dancers!
